Welcome to the SynergyOS Monthly Newsletter for March 2025

This month, we’ve rebuilt our mobile app from the ground up. The new version includes full support for Drive, plus a brand-new Chat tab with real-time messaging and push notifications.

🚀 Mobile App Redesign

This first release focuses on performance, simplicity, and core functionality on mobile.

Included in this version:

• Chat: DMs and group conversations
• Drive: Full access to your files
• Push notifications
• File and media previews
• Upload from camera, photo library, or local storage

💬 Chat Tab

The new Chat tab includes everything you need to stay connected on the go:

• DMs and group chats
• Push notifications
• Create, delete, or update chat members
• Chat list shows name, folder path, last message, and unread count
• Upload photos, take pictures, send files
• Preview images and record voice notes directly in chat

📁 Drive Tab

The Drive tab includes all existing desktop functionality:

• Opens by default in “Recent Items”
• Browse folders just like on web
• Preview Office files, PDFs, images, and more
• Upload files from your device

Roadmap

In April, we’ll focus on backend improvements to boost performance, and small frontend updates. Based on user feedback, we’ll also decide which tabs to bring next to mobile — we’re currently leaning towards Notes and Tasks.
