Federation APIs

Application clients call the federation routes on their SynckHub server. Find their request and response types in the complete server reference.

The server owns federation initiation, invite acceptance, synchronization, and mount behavior for federated folders and items. These routes enforce the repository’s permissions and federation policy.

Service boundaries

Clearinghouse sequences streams, proposals, and memberships. Common manages authority admission and registry state. SynckHub handles these service-to-service interactions; application clients should not bypass it and call those services directly. Their APIs are not included in the server reference.
